Best way to actually practice before going out there and have crash damage.Practice at home and take your RC only after you feel comfortable to fly it.

This adapter cable works with my Futaba 9CH and all of the simulators that I have tried. This is annoying when your plane or helicopter moves randomly in the simulator.Not sure if all of the GWS cables are like that or just this one. it shows up in Windows as a PPM joystick, and is recognized by all programs that use a joystick interface.The electrical connection is a bit loose and sometimes if you jiggle the cord the signals to the computer get jumpy. It could be a problem with the design of the Futaba square connector.Otherwise I am very happy, but I wish it was more stable.

After that I was able to fly the plane real nice. I'm new to RC airplane models so I tried FMS before my first real flight. It was the right thing to do. For 2 days I always crashed my virtual plane. Now I'm going to try the real thing.
