Every bit as good as the "official" Wii HD cables, but about half the price. They even look almost identical, and function just fine. Save yourself the money and buy these instead.
The Wii setup immediately recognized the 420p resolution. It was a superb difference to read the web pages clearly without zooming in. With original cable at 480i resolution, the fonts appear smudged. I have Samsung LN40A550 and it recognized a feed of 720p resolution. I actually didn't believe what difference this component cable can make over the standard Nintendo cable. One must definitely give it a try. Opened the Opera browser, and that's where you can see the real difference. But the new one was extra clear.
This cable helped out greatly so that I had an extra spot to place my VCR into my TV. The cable also increased the clarity of the signal from the Wii to the TV. Would recommend this.
This is a quality cable. Makes a large differance in the quaility of the video while using the Wii. I highly recommend this cable if you own a Wii game system and a component capable TV/monitor. Buy it - now. You can spend more, but you don't have to. Wii HD Link Component Cable
No biggie. These cables don't allow that anymore. Unfortunately, I used to be able to route cables separately to the TV and audio system. I really like the high def with this cable. I'm happy. So the Wii doesnt get the surround sound system anymore, but everything else does still. I bought it for the visual improvements, and that it does.
