Maybe the smaller orbs have a tighter sphere making it more difficult to install. i dont know what size orbs the others were commenting on that were having issues. This heater is a breeze to install. I own the 16 gallon biorb and i had no problems. It is fully submersable so the owner that was afraid to drop it in should read the directions. Will try to post a pic so you can check out what it looks like.
this heater works fine but will not fit into the BiOrb with the suction cups inclosed. You just have to let it dangle in the tank by the cord and hope it does not go into the water.
This item itself works great and has been reliable, but the fit for the BiOrb tank itself doesnt quite work.the tank is a sphere so they should have found/or made accessories that can fit the concavity of the inner walls of the tank. It comes with a plastic wall adapter that does not work. Directions with the heater are limited and does not explain too much in terms of installing.
