Super Mario 64 was a genre-defining classic. Now it arrives on the Nintendo DS with all-new features that take advantage of the new portable system's dual screens, touch screen and wireless features! Mario, Luigi and Wario are invited to a royal party for Princess Peach. When they arrive at the castle, it is strangely empty and the 3 of them try to learn what happened. When they disappear too, Yoshi must rescue them from their old enemy Bowser.

I bought this game because my cousin bought and it looked like a lot of fun.And it is.The game starts out easy but get harder as you go from level to level.Read the directions. It'll help a lot. This is really fun any one will love it.

That said, Super Mario 64 DS didn't disappoint me, an owner of the original game. The levels have been redone to accommodate for those abilities, and several new levels have even been added.The only gripe I have is that a game that was designed to be played with analog control doesn't always work so well with the DS's D-Pad. The control isn't always tight - and the DS version is noticeably not nearly as responsive as the original game. It's amazing that all that technology, that was considered cutting-edge in 1996, can be crammed onto the hand-held DS. Mario 64 may still be one of the greatest third-person adventures on any game system - more than a decade after it was released. But, all in all, that can be overlooked as this is probably one of the best games currently available for the DS, particularly in the platforming genre. But it is, and even features several improvements, like being able to play as several different Mario characters with unique abilities. There are a few cheap deaths, especially for people over the age of 12 with adult-sized fingers.

Like I said, I would have been happy to just have the original game itself, but they added to it as well, and its even longer than it once was. Not only was Super Mario 64 a lengthy game, but it offered lots of entertainment. I was glad to hear that the original was brought onto the Nintendo DS, just the direct port was good enough for me. But not only did they port it, but they added new stars, levels ( paintings ), and characters as well which seems to be a huge plus. Good deal.

I GOT THIS GAME ON CHRISTMAS 2005. THIS GAME HAS 150 STARS INSTEAD OF THE OLD VERSION WHICH HAD 120 STARS AND THIS TIME INSTEAD OF PLAYINGAS ONLY MARIO YOU CAN PLAY AS MARIO,LUIGI,WARIO,AND YOSHI.THIS GAME IS AMAZING
